For more than 10 years, I had been overweight.

Throughout these years, my teenage years into adulthood, I lived the life of wanting a better body.

While it seemed that I was stuck at being overweight, other ladies were wearing clothes I desired to wear, their skins were glowing, they looked age-appropriate if not younger, and they looked and oozed confidence. They were the goals I wanted to achieve!

While I thought and desired a better self, I wondered. “What are they doing that I am not?”

Constantly, I pondered over this question while clicking through hundreds of posts, photos and videos online. I desired to be “one of them”, but after spending hours looking through detox programs, and fitness regimens, I was no closer to achieving the results than when I first started.
